Its OK to look back...
As we began our Sunday outing we stopped to look back on Bream Bay. It is the strip of white beach you can see in the back of the picture. Andrew's work site would be found on the far right of the photo and the village of Waipu is near the left of the photo.

I stumbled upon your site quite accident today. Serendipity, perhaps, as we in New Jersey had a nasty ice storm last night and I've been dreaming of beaches for a couple of months now. Thanks for the warm weather fix!
I hear they have had 25 days of rain on the west coast of Canada, where we are from.
We'll be looking at for beach pictures on Northern Hemisphere blogs as we shiver in our under-insulated kiwi house in July.

Yup, the US West Coast has been inundated, too, recently. I'm seeing reports of major flooding from CA to WA.
Well, if you get too cold in July, I'll see what I can to about sending you some New Jersey heat and humidity :)

Came over from Wendy's blog. Hope you don't mind. Love your pics. We just missed the record of 28 days of straight rain, in Vancouver anyway. On the island, we made the 29 days today of rain. I am daydreaming in your pics. Hope you are having fun, and taking care of Wendy for us.
Thanks for dropping by Mrs. Wilson. I'm sure our paths must have crossed at the pool or Family Gym or some other haunt of parents of young children. Anyway, we are doing our best with Wendy but what can you do when they decide to live in the land of all the biting nasties and we don't even have a garter snake in NZ?
