The only negative thing about the Antipodes is being so far away from the rest of the world! Having said that, it is a terrific place to have a vacation, especially if you enjoy water sports and hiking.
My blog is a medium for our North American and European friends and family to keep up with us, so it is more about life in NZ than vacations in NZ.
